Welcome! I’m Tracy. It’s so nice to meet you.

Hello, hello! My name is Tracy and I am a family and newborn photographer located in St. Johns, Florida, right outside of Jacksonville. I started my business in early 2013 and have poured all my heart into making it the best business that I can. I strive to make the photography experience easy and FUN for all of my clients.

When I’m not behind the camera or at my desk editing, you can find me at the beach collecting shells, at the pool watching my kids do under water somersaults or traveling to national parks with my family.

A few random facts about me

  • Sweet Tooth

    I’ve never met a cookie, cupcake, cake, scoop of ice cream or piece of candy that I didn’t like. There is a good chance I'll have some treats to share with you, hidden in my camera bag.

  • World Traveler

    I love to travel and have been so lucky to visit and live in some amazing places around the world. A few places that I have called home include New York City, London, Houston, Bend and most recently, St. Johns, Florida. Traveling has taught me how to appreciate the great beauty that we have around us and I hope to highlight that in your photos.

  • My name is also "Mommy"

    I have two spunky little girls that I love more than life itself. Don’t get me wrong - it’s not all sunshine and roses. I’m one of those parents that is aching for them to go to bed at the end of a long day, and then right after they go to sleep I’m scrolling through photos of them on my phone, missing them.

    Kids don't always cooperate when we want them to but don't worry - I GET IT! I have a bag of tricks up my sleeve to get the very best images of your little ones. That's the beauty of photographing kids - they always keep us on our toes!

  • Parenting 101

    Being a parent is a trip, isn’t it? It is so hard, so overwhelming sometimes. But then your kids look at you and you just think, GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, HOW DID I MAKE YOU?! Being a parent has taught me that the beauty of life is hidden in those small, little moments...the same moments that I aim to capture for you.

  • Before I was a Photographer

    I worked in the fashion industry! In my first professional life I got a BA in Fashion Merchandising and worked in the industry for 8 years for companies such as J. Crew, Gap and Burberry. If you need help with what to wear for your session - I am your girl!

  • On being an Entrepreneur

    Running my own business is the hardest yet most rewarding job I have had. My name is on this business, so I can guarantee that you will get the best images and customer service that I can provide. After ten years in the biz I am confident that my clients was away 100% satisfied with their images.

FAQ

Here are some common questions that I get asked about what it’s like working with me or about booking your photography session. If you don’t see the answer to your question, please feel free to contact me!

  • I am a natural light photographer that loves working with families of all colors, shapes and sizes in every stage of life. I get to know your family so that we can capture real, candid moments that showcase your love for each other. I have lots of ideas, activities and poses that help you connect as a family and help me make true, honest portraits. Your family is perfect just the way they are. It is my job to document your love.

  • Your session will be fun, relaxed and a time to create memories with your family. I’ll engage you in activities and poses that will create intimate and honest moments with your family - big belly laughs, deep hugs, and some really silly faces.

  • Family sessions normally take place outside, during golden hour (1-1.5 hours before sunset). Certain locations require sunrise sessions (15 minutes before sunrise). If you would like to do an at home lifestyle session, we typically meet mid-day.

    Newborn sessions are always held in the comfort of your own home, typically within the first two weeks after baby is born. Newborn sessions can take place up to one month after birth.

  • Family sessions typically last one hour and newborn sessions last up to three hours. However, I don’t like to set a finite amount of time for your session. I work until I feel like we have captured a comprehensive gallery of your family. Sometimes that is a little less time than estimated and sometimes it’s a bit more.

  • I am more than happy to help all of my clients pick outfits for their session. Please see my What to Wear Guide (sent in your confirmation email) for suggestions. If you are still stuck just give me a shout and I will help you out!

  • Yes! I offer a full selection of printed products to all of my clients. Framed fine art prints, every day prints, gorgeous albums and many more products are available for purchase right in your online gallery. I can help you pick out which items to purchase, design an album and frame a gallery wall for you, if you need some help.
