NOTE —

If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

Maternity Photography

Jacksonville Maternity Photographer | Waiting for Baby Violet

October 17, 2018

I am always super excited when someone books a maternity session. For one – I think they are awesome and every pregnant person should have them done. But, I have been pregnant twice and know how a pregnant woman can feel about getting in front of the camera. What do you mean – you don’t want to have your photos taken when you’ve gained 30 lbs, feel like it’s constantly summer and can’t sleep through the night because you have a baby kicking your bladder?BUT. I can promise you this. You will never, ever regret having booked that maternity session. Having a baby is a BIG deal. It should be celebrated and documented. Not only are you growing another human being in your body (I cannot get over how rad that is) but your family is about to be forever changed. Whether you are having your first, second or third (or beyond you brave, brave souls!) your family is growing and changing. What a marvelous time to capture your family right now, before this big change. This gorgeous family knew how important it was to document their growing family before Baby V arrived. Big brother is the apple of mom and dads eye and a big change was on the horizon. Now that baby sister is here there is double the love in their family. But how bittersweet it is to look back when it was just the three of them.Maternity Sessions are best done between 30-36 weeks. If you would like to book a maternity session please use the ‘contact’ button on the menu. MEET tracy

Photographer, mother, creative. Obsessed with travel, time near the water, reading, and the beautifully imperfect nature of family life.

I’m Tracy - family photographer, mom of two, and the one who stays relaxed when things get a little wild. After more than ten years photographing families, I’ve learned that the good stuff happens when you stop trying so hard. With a serious sweet tooth and a strong belief that family photos should actually be fun, I bring a calm, easy energy to every session.
