Jacksonville Photographer | Winter Family Session

Jacksonville Photographer - Winter Family Session

Are you ready to be dazzled by some beautiful baby blues?? I mean seriously...how can you resist those?? This mama contacted me in early 2019 for a family session. She needed a handful of images for her son's baptism invitation, as well as a traditional family session. Two in one? No problem! Luckily this all took place before Snowpocalypse 2019. We actually had a super nice, sunny, moderately warm day considering it was the middle of January! If that isn't luck, I don't know what is.

While I usually have outdoor family sessions take place one hour before sunset (to get that beautiful golden light that we all love) this just goes to show that you can get beautiful photographs of your family taken at any time of the day. We had to work with an earlier timeline in order to get the right photos inside the house. And this family rocked it. They were so much fun to photograph. We played games, told jokes and had a big tickle fight. Basically, the most fun ever.

I love that we were able to use a space that was so special to them. We took the indoor photographs in baby's room. The outdoor photographs were taken on the golf course and green space that was right outside their backyard. Whenever they look at these photographs, no matter where they are in life, they will immediately be brought back to this time and place. If you have a special location that you would like to use for your family photographs please let me know! It makes the session all the more sentimental to you and your family.
