I’m going to warn you that the images you see in this family photography session may cause you to want to book your own session. Holy smokes guys. The entire session I was basically doing a happy dance and grinning from ear to ear. Not only was this family the cutest, they were so good at ignoring me behind the camera and just enjoyed being together. I’m telling you, that’s really all it takes for a successful family photography session. Have fun and love on each other. Did I direct them into certain poses and/or activities? Heck yes! But their love and emotions are genuine, even I can’t force that. One last thing before you get a peak into their gallery. When consulting with a potential client I always mention that *most* family session occur outside and about 1-2 hours before sunset. Why that late in the day? Take a peak at the photo below….see all those delicious golden yellow and orange dots in the background? That, my friend, is the golden hour. The time of day when the light is soft and warm, and casts the most beautiful light on my clients. Basically, it caused me to do even more happy dancing 🙂
