Portrait Photographer – Jacksonville, Florida

Do you ever think about doing something, or make a note to plan something, and then find yourself putting it off? I think, for a lot of people, that happens with family photography. The list of excuses is long – and believe me I’ve even used some of them myself (…need to lose those last five pounds, when the baby starts sleeping through the night, when everything is a little less chaotic…I could go on and on). But I implore you to have those photos taken now. Right now. To capture and document your family exactly as it is, right now in this stage in your life. Because we all know, it goes by too quickly, and you don’t want this moment in time to pass you by. Ok, now I’m starting to sound like a Sarah McLachlan song, but I hope you get my point :)As a portrait photographer I try really hard to make my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera and to make the photography experience FUN for everyone. That usually means telling a lot of jokes (or asking kids if they know any jokes – which are usually pretty bad and in turn make everyone laugh really hard) playing games and acting silly. And if the kids go the other way, and are acting waayyy too silly and excited I have a bunch of quiet activities to engaged everyone in. Things like telling your mom a secret or looking for a very special character in my lens.
