Vacation Photography St. Augustine, FL

March 16, 2018

You guys – I cannot stop thinking about summer. As crazy as it sounds, I already have all of our camping trips lined up, summer camps ready to be booked and I am itching for warm, long sunny days. I know we still have some time but I can’t wait for it to get here. All this summer planning had me thinking about what an awesome idea it would be to book a vacation photography session this summer.Living in Bend, OR is seriously such a blessing. We are surrounded by so much natural beauty, and pretty much any terrain you could ask for (well…except the ocean). There are mountains and rivers and lakes and desert and lava rocks and forests…the options really are unlimited. Scheduling vacation photography session is basically the perfect time to get family photos done. Why you ask?

  1. Everyone is nice and relaxed from being on vacation – no deadlines to meet, no meetings to attend. The biggest decision of the day is should we take a float down the river or head up to one of the magnificent lakes? Mom and Dad especially get that break from the rat race and just get to relax. The kids aren’t stressed out from school. Think about it – everyone is happier on vacation! Less stress = happier photographs.
  2. You’re vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the US – call me biased but Bend and the Cascade Lakes are some of the most beautiful places to see and explore. Our endless days of sunshine and stunning mountains make for an incredible background for your family photographs.
  3. Let’s make it adventure – want to put a different twist on your family photographs this year? Consider a vacation photography session and we can really capture some amazing experiences. Let’s hike up a mountain! Or kayak around Elk Lake. We could explore the Lava Lands. We could go looking for wildflowers or fishing for the big catch. Whatever activities your family loves to do – lets capture those experiences. It’s sure to make for some awesome memories.

I could go on and on about why you should book a vacation photography session. Whether you live in Bend or are visiting for a vacation, this summer is an amazing time to get your family photos done. I promise they will make a lifetime of memories. If you are interested in booking a vacation photography session this summer for you and your family, I would love to speak with you! Photographer, mother, creative. Obsessed with travel, time near the water, reading, and the beautifully imperfect nature of family life.

I’m Tracy - family photographer, mom of two, and the one who stays relaxed when things get a little wild. After more than ten years photographing families, I’ve learned that the good stuff happens when you stop trying so hard. With a serious sweet tooth and a strong belief that family photos should actually be fun, I bring a calm, easy energy to every session.
