What kind of a photographer are you?

I am a natural light photographer that loves working with families of all colors, shapes and sizes in every stage of life. I get to know your family so that we can capture real, candid moments that showcase your love for each other. I have lots of ideas, activities and poses that help you connect as a family and help me make true, honest portraits. Your family is perfect just the way they are. It is my job to document your love.

What will my session be like?

Your session will be fun, relaxed and a time to create memories with your family. I’ll engage you in activities and poses that will create intimate and honest moments with your family - big belly laughs, deep hugs, and some really silly faces. .

Where will my session be held?

Family sessions normally take place outside, during golden hour (1-1.5 hours before sunset). Certain locations require sunrise sessions (15 minutes before sunrise). If you would like to do an at home lifestyle session, we typically meet mid-morning.

Newborn sessions are always held in the comfort of your own home, typically within the first two weeks after baby is born. Newborn sessions can take place up to one month after birth.

How long will my session last?

Family sessions typically last one hour and newborn sessions last up to three hours. However, I don’t like to set a finite amount of time for your session. I work until I feel like we have captured a comprehensive gallery of your family. Sometimes that is a little less time than estimated and sometimes it’s a bit more.

What should I wear?

Don’t worry - I have you covered! A full wardrobe consultation is included in every session. We can shop your closet to see what you already have and shop for new items if needed. We will make sure your personal style is preserved while I add my expertise in what clothing photographs the best for every member of your family.

Can I order prints from you?

Yes! I offer a full selection of printed products to all of my clients. During your reveal & design appointment we will pick out the best printed and digital items for you and your family. Framed fine art prints, every day prints, gorgeous albums and many more products are available. I’ll even hang your wall gallery for you so you don’t have to. It doesn’t get easier than that!
